Who is entitled to this examination?

The preventive medical examination is available for all individuals from the age of 18 and above, residing in Austria, once a year, free of charge. Even uninsured individuals can take advantage of the preventive medical examination by obtaining a substitute health insurance certificate for the examination from the competent regional office of the Austrian Health Insurance Fund.
